I don't specialize in one layer of the stack — I specialize in shipping the whole product. That means I can write the firmware, build the backend, ship the web app, and debug the hardware when something's wrong.

My work has directly contributed to multi-million dollar fundraising rounds at early-stage startups by delivering the core technology that moved the business forward.

Startups hire me when the roadmap is ambitious, the team is small, and the answer to "who is going to build this?" can't be "we'll hire someone eventually." Whatever the company needs to succeed, that's what I build.

Situation

Early-stage startup that needed to ship its core hardware product to validate the business.

Task

Take the product from prototype to investor-ready hardware and firmware.

Action

Owned the full hardware and firmware delivery: designed the electronic circuit, brought up the board, and developed the embedded firmware end-to-end.

Result

The product's technical validation directly supported the company's successful investment fundraising round.

Situation

Need for a system that could handle massive 3D data sets in real time, with animation and streaming built in.

Task

Architect and deliver a high-performance, scalable real-time platform — and grow into leading the team that built it.

Action

Built a real-time point cloud processing engine, implemented animation and streaming systems, developed a VR module, and created an Unreal Engine plugin. Promoted to Technical Lead.

Result

The technology became a core differentiator, contributing to the company raising multiple millions of dollars in funding.

Situation

A growing media business needed to modernize its internal operations and run large-scale fishing championships end-to-end.

Task

Build the web platforms that would run the business and the events.

Action

Designed and delivered business-critical platforms on Laravel and PHP — ERP and CRM systems for the company, plus a Championship Management (GC) system for fishing tournaments. Front-end was a mix of JavaScript and TypeScript on top of a MySQL backend and REST APIs.

Result

Replaced ad-hoc internal processes with a reliable operational backbone, improved event flow and reliability for championships, and contributed to profit growth.

A from-scratch, synthetic-data reimplementation of the behavioral customer-scoring engine originally built for a brewery POS platform — scores customers against five personas with fully explainable, per-feature breakdowns.

  • Five behavioral personas scored through a transparent, weighted-rubric engine — no black box

A full-stack AI app that matches any beer to the official BJCP 2021 style guidelines — a two-stage pipeline grounds the beer in real web data, then a schema-validated LLM call classifies it with confidence and reasoning.

  • Two-stage pipeline: grounded web research feeds a structured-output LLM call classifying against 128 BJCP styles
  • Postgres-backed response cache and per-IP rate limiting keep repeated lookups cheap and abuse-resistant
